The ADRA Community Centre – Redwood is surrounded by a large oval and expansive front lawn. So, when their ride-on mower broke down, they were left in a tough spot. As a not-for-profit organisation, funds are always limited. The Warburton Advancement League recognised that every dollar spent on replacing the mower would be a dollar less available for vital community support – something Redwood is deeply committed to.
Through their community connections, the Warburton Advancement League discovered that Gladysdale Primary School had a ride-on mower sitting idle in a shed. They reached out to the school, and in a wonderful act of generosity, the school council agreed to sell the mower at a significantly reduced price. The Warburton Advancement League covered the cost in full.
A heartfelt thank you to Gladysdale Primary School and the Warburton Advancement League. Your generosity has not only supported the ADRA Community Centre – Redwood but also made a meaningful difference to the wider community who rely on their services.
