November track maintenance
Out again before the rain, we are tackling a big section today from Bramich Bridge to Chisholm Park. It looks great now but it was a untidy and messy before we started. Another tree falls foul of the October winds
A number of trees fell victim to the recent doting winds but one of the most dramatic was on the River Track. Quick work from the River Track Team returned the track to safe and easy walking again.

Tidying up The Warburton Welcome sign

Successful Cerini Walk
The Cerini Walk was successful as over a hundred people walked from Millgrove to the Cerini Centre in Warburton. But the true measure of the success of this walk will be a change in hearts, a change in attitude and the start of a movement to address homelessness. Video of the Cerini Centre walk

Firewood delivery
Alvin and Kevin delivered wood to the Visitors Information Centre this morning. WAL members always on hand to keep volunteers and visitors warm with regular wood deliveries

Mt Donna Buang downhill racers
Nothing our Warburton Advancement League Community Bus can’t do, skaters and luge riders being bused from the 10 Mile Turntable to the Mt Donna Buang Summit for race events at this year’s Victoria Downhill Yarra Ranges Downhill Festival 2024. Community Bus funded by Community Bank Warburton and Yarra Junction.

Redwood Centre cleanup
Big clean up this arvo behind Redwood centre, huge limb upsetting Bills lawn mowing routine, John, Max, Jerry and Jeff knocked it over, with one huge trailer load of limbs off to Jerry’s bonfire and nice trailer load of wood up to my place for Visitor Info Centre ( for year 2026)
